Chiltern Hub

The Chiltern Hub is led by Wycombe High School in partnership with Headington School, Oxford.

Wycombe High School is an Outstanding girls’ grammar school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. It is an Academy, taking girls from the age of 11 through to the age of 18. The school has approximately 1,340 pupils.

Headington School is a leading independent girls’ school in Headington, Oxford. Founded in 1915, it takes girls from aged 3 to 18 and currently has over 1,000 pupils, many living within its five boarding houses. Over the years Headington has always developed and expanded to give the best opportunities for its girls.  As a founding school within the NMAPS partnership, Headington School plays host to our summer residential programme in August.

Please note that Mathematics and Physics training places are offered in both locations, but Wycombe High School leads on Mathematics training in the Chiltern Hub and Headington School Leads on Physics training in the Chiltern Hub. Please apply to your preferred location (High Wycombe or Oxford), regardless of which subject you wish to apply for, but note that interviews may take place with the Subject Lead School.
